Register for IMPACT

In January, 11th grade students had the opportunity to learn about IMPACT at IMPACT Saturday, and we are excited for your next step in the program based on strong academic performance.

Program Information:

IMPACT Institute is a one-day college access event for rising seniors which will be held on May 18th, 2024:

YES Prep Northline Secondary
441 Little York Rd.

Houston, TX 77076

IMPACT Institute is a comprehensive, one-day event for you to learn more about the college admissions process, build relationships with the admissions representatives from IMPACT colleges and universities and start thinking critically about your own college application process.

During the Institute, you will take part in workshops and discussions that are designed to complement the work you do in Junior Seminar classes and help prepare you for the selective admissions process.  Another exciting aspect of the Institute is that a representative from each of our IMPACT Partner colleges/universities will be serving as faculty for the conference.  This means that you will have the opportunity to meet and work with the people that will be reading your applications in the fall!  Truly, this is an incredible opportunity to learn more about our IMPACT Partner institutions while also helping them learn more about you!

Family & Parent Participation:

Parents and families are invited to participate in IMPACT Institute.  Parents can join to learn about the steps their students can take this summer.  Additionally, we will host an IMPACT College Fair where students and their families can interact with IMPACT representatives from our partner colleges.

Please complete the registration form for IMPACT Institute by May 3, 2024, so we can develop a personalized IMPACT Institute Schedule for you:

https://tinyurl.com/IMPACTInstitute24

When you register, you can select the number of guests who will attend with you and either register for your family members or send them an email in the system to invite them to register.

Again, congratulations on your nomination for the IMPACT Program. I look forward to seeing you at the IMPACT Institute on May 18th, 2024.

Sincerely,

Whitney Dale
