Northside Parent Meeting

Our first Parent Meeting will be Thursday, September 21st at 5:30pm. Parents will have an opportunity to meet the director's team and learn about grading + skyward 

 

 

SAT Club

SAT Club is every Monday and Wednesday. Starts Monday, September 11 from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm everyone is welcome but is is best tailored for 11th + 12th grade students.

Unified Tutorials (Selected Students)

Unified Tutorials will begin on Wednesday, Sept. 13th and will be held every week through December 6th for the subjects Math & English from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm. If you received messaging regarding Unified Tutorials, your child must attend due to not passing the 2023 STAAR test. These tutorials are mandatory. Letters will be sent home next Monday with more information. Please contact Ms. Jones if you have additional questions.

 

Car Riders

• Car riders will no longer walk to the front of the building at 4:15pm ​

• If your ride is not here by 4:15pm – you will wait in the Commons. Your ride will need to sign you out if you're picked up later than 4:15pm. ​

• Reminder, school ends at 4:00pm. You must be picked up by 4:15pm.

 

 

 

Northside Middle School CROSS COUNTRY ​

 FALL FAVORITES SNACK STAND ​

September 18th – 21st (300 HALL)​ - 4:00 pm

We will have cups of iced Horchata, Chips, and a Donut station: students will be able to add Carmel or chocolate drizzle, sprinkles, and other toppings to their donut for $2. 

 

 

Temporary Parking Hang Tags

All students should have their Temporary Parking Hang Tags by Friday, September 8, 2023. There will be random parking lot sweeps. If students do not have an approved NS Parking Hang Tag from this school year, cars will be towed at student/parents expense. 

What do I need to park on campus:

• Drivers License 
• Car Insurance 
• $5.00 payment
• Driving Contract (Can be picked up from Mrs. Johnson or her mailbox in the Culture Den)

Dear PRIDE Families,

We care about the health and safety of all individuals on campus. Help us keep our staff and students safe by practicing healthy practices at school and at home. Please help keep your child healthy by taking extra precautions and staying home when sick. 

For this school year, if your child has COVID, you will follow the same policy and procedure as you would for any other illness or planned/unplanned absence. Follow best practices to protect those around you by maintaining a safe distance, using PPE and washing your hands thoroughly and often. 

COVID procedures in years past such as contact tracing, mandated quarantining and isolation were precautions we took that no longer be a mandate. You as a family will make the best choices for yourself and student. We will continue to value safety and security of all stakeholders in our campus and encourage healthy practices.
