ASPIRE Afterschool Clubs Enrollment Directions (Fall 2024)

The YES Prep Secondary ASPIRE (After-School Program for Identity, Relationships, and Enrichment) exists for students to participate in supplemental academic and enrichment activities that help students meet state and local student standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math; offers students a broad array of enrichment activities to reinforce and complement the regular academic program, and offers activities to help students to become college ready and ready for all post-secondary opportunities.

Uniforms policy for the 2024-2025 school year 

At YES Prep, we continue to see the benefits of students wearing YES Prep uniforms and apparel, including a sense of school pride, improved safety and more convenience for families. For this reason, we will have a standard uniform policy for the 2024-2025 school year. Students will be required to wear a YES Prep-branded polo or spirit shirt five days a week, with the option to wear a school-chosen variation like a college shirt on Fridays.

SECONDARY - $5 spirit shirt; $8 polo shirt $31 uniform bundle (3 spirit shirts, 2 polo shirts)

Dress Code for 2024-2025

Students are not allowed to wear athletic bottoms of any kind: sweatpants6, sweat shorts, wind pants, leggings, etc. The only approved bottoms are jeans of any color or khaki bottoms. If student arrives at school in non-approved bottoms, they will be dress coded instructed to call home and placed in the In School Suspension room until the dress code is corrected. Once the dress code is corrected the student will return to their normal class schedule.

Transportation

Have you filled out the Transportation registration for next school year? 

If you haven’t done so already, please take this opportunity to fill out the 2024-2025 Transportation Registration Form available through Skyward Family Access. The 2024-2025 Transportation Registration Form closes on Friday, June 14. Remember that if your physical address in Skyward is not up to date, you need to contact your school’s registrar as soon as possible so you can complete the Transportation Enrollment Form. Returning students who do NOT submit their forms by June 14 will have to wait until August 30 to submit their transportation request. If you need additional support, you can find instructions on how to complete the Transportation Registration Form by clicking here
